How it was built →

Coming spring 2027

Grandma never wrote it down. Now she doesn’t have to.

Record her telling the recipe, the way she always does. Heirloom turns it into a recipe card in her own words and builds your family’s cookbook.

How it works

Three steps. Zero typing for grandma.

  1. 1

    Call or record her

Hit record on your phone, or have Heirloom call her landline. She just talks, the way she always does.

  2. 2

    Heirloom writes the card

AI turns the story into a real recipe with amounts and steps, and keeps her words as notes in the margin.

  3. 3

    The cookbook builds itself

Every card lands in one family cookbook. Cousins can add theirs, and you can print a hardcover for the holidays.

Recording · 2:14 · Nonna, Sunday gravy
Okay so first you take your olive oil, a good glug, not the cheap stuff, and you let the garlic, four cloves, maybe five if it's a cold day, you let it just go golden, don't let it brown or your grandfather would know. Then the tomatoes, the big can, crush them with your hands, that's important, the hands. Salt, a pinch more than you think. And then you leave it alone, two hours, low, and you stir it when you walk by. Basil at the very end, torn, never cut. That's it. That's the whole secret.

Made for families

Keeps the recipe. Keeps her.

Her voice stays in it

Tap any step to hear her say it. The "pinch more than you think" stays exactly how she said it.

No app for grandma

Heirloom can call a landline and ask her questions, so she never has to download anything.

Fills in the blanks

"A handful" becomes a measurement, with her phrase kept beside it. You can always edit.

Private to your family

Recordings belong to your family. Nothing is public unless you share a card on purpose.
